Gereç ve Yöntemler: Yarı deneysel türdeki çalışmada örneklem grubunu; gestasyonel yaşı hafta olan, vücut ağırlığı 1. Masaj grubundaki bebeklere 5 gün süreyle günde 2 kez dk'lık hafif basınçlı bebek masajı uygulanmıştır. Bebeklerin vücut ağırlığı 5 gün boyunca; baş çevresi ve boy uzunluğu çalışmanın başlangıcı ve bitiminde ölçülüp kaydedilmiştir. Masaj grubundaki bebeklerin vital bulguları masaj öncesi, masaj sonrası 1 ve Bulgular: Masaj grubundaki bebeklerin vücut ağırlığı artışı kontrol grubundaki bebeklerden anlamlı olarak daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Material and Methods: In the quasi-experimental study, the sample group consisted 33 preterm infants with a gestational age of weeks, a body weight of 1, grams and above and who could be fed enterally. Infants in the massage group were given a light pressure infant massage for minutes twice a day for 5 days. Daily body weight of infants were measured and recorded for 5 days, head circumference and height were measured and recorded at the beginning and end of the study. Results: The body weight gain of the infants in the massage group was found to be significantly higher. There was no significant difference in the length, head circumference and length of hospital stay of the massage and control group infants.
